The transparent portions in the Genoa 1 of the above named boats are made of cloth which is not used as sailcloth, but only for windows for boats of a size like X99. So, such portions are windows in the meaning of Rule 11.7.5, but have an area of more than 0.1 m² and, thus, contravene against this rule.

Therefore, the above named boats are requested to reduce the size of the transparent portions so as to bring them into compliance with Rule 11.7.5. This could be done e.g. by fixing self-adhesive thin spinnaker cloth onto one side of the transparent portions.
