Further to my message posted on June 8th I am now being assisted in the sale of Bluenose by Falmouth Yacht Brokers and the boat has been lifted out of the water and may be viewed at their boatyard.
Falmouth Yacht Brokers offer a full range of boatyard facilities and can assist in all aspects of the purchase which will make things a lot easier for potential buyers.

Bluenose is in perfect sail away condition and with prevailing south west wind it would not take long to sail back to mainland Europe. The expense involved is more than compensated for in the asking price.
A 2010 .5oz VMG spinnaker (used in five races) and a 2010 Carbon Number 3 jib (used twice) have been added to the spec and the overall price adjusted to 54000 Euros.
The price without IRC sails and carbon pole remains at 47000 Euros. There is room for negotiation with regard to the sail inventory.

For sale: a beautiful yellow lightweather spinnaker (1,25 ounce) for a X-99, manufactured by North in 2003. Hardly used and looks almost like new. No repairs. Including a special spi-bag from North. Was one of the 3 spinnakers on the X-99, but after the boat was purchased by me in spring 2007 (afters she was stored inside for over a year), I never sailed matches with her and never used the spinnakers. I sold the boat in 2008 and the spi is now collecting dust in my attack, so it has to go.

A 1997 Mark II boat formerly DEN 512 Alice II. Very successful in class racing. Brought to England in 2007 but due family illness is now for sale.
Bluenose has been extensively optimised for IRC/ORC racing during last three seasons but remains fully compliant with class rules and represents a really good opportunity.
White hull with blue striping. Performance keel.
Two sets of class sails: the newest are North 2004/2005 and have hardly been used since 2006.
Complete set of Carbon IRC sails. VMG, A/P and asymmetric spinnakers. 2010 carbon pole.
Re-rigged with Dyform, PBO and Vectran 2009. Class rigging dates from 2004 and can easily be changed back. All Harken and Frederiksen deck gear with lots of new.
Volvo Penta MD2010 in excellent condition. Through hull engine seal replaced 2008.
Full Nexus NX2 with server. New masthead unit 2010. Leica DGPS.
Centre lifting strop. St 1000 tiller pilot. Usual cushions etc.
Excellent 2007 hull survey.
Bluenose is afloat in Falmouth, Cornwall, in south west England and with prevailing SW wind could soon be sailed back to mainland Europe.
